As you know I am being lodged at the Towne Place Suites by the ARMY. It is a very tiny room, a noisy place and not very private. Now I have another great thing to add to the list, BEDBUGS!

I went to bed and in the morning I awoke with this huge red spot that was firm and hurt when I pressed on it. So I show one of the other soldiers here and he shows me his leg that looks exactly like my bite. We looked it up on the internet and viola, its bedbug bites.

WTF Mariot? Your rooms suck and are overpriced. Are the bedbugs free?

In order to use it, you got get it. So that’s what we did or rather I did to some trainees for their certification.

We had fun and after they got over the temporary pain and discomfort they enjoyed it. Now they have braggin’ rights.

A Sunday morning at BestBuy

This is the first time I have ever been at a bestbuy store when it has opened on a Sunday morning and I was more than a little bit surprised.

There were a lot of people waiting for the store to open. Matter of fact I thought something new was being released. When I got to the front doors I asked if there was something special happening and people looked at me like I was weird.

Turns out that this is a weekly event for them as their weekly ads begin on Sundays. Note to self, avoid bestbuy on Sunday mornings.

Ok, I went to SAMSCLUB this morning and in the busy parking lot I saw this camper thing on a trailer. Wow, this thing is so redneckish. Was this some kind of slap me together project or what?

Anyways while I was shopping another customer approached me and began talking about it, we were dying of laughter.

Traffic jams suck!

So, I am stuck in Newport News traffic writing this blog entry. In 25 minutes I have traveled four miles. Is there a traffic accident or some other incident? Nope, not on my route. It turns out that my route dumps into the interstate so it collects All of that crappy traffic. Just another perk that the my move has benefited me with.

The Hulk!

So I went to the movies to see iron man and they had the Hulk statue in the lobby and you know I could not resist the opportunity to snap a shot of it for the blog.

By the way Iron Man was a pretty decent movie. If you stay and wait for the credits to finish you will get a little treat for what is to come in a sequel. Something to do with the Avengers?
